Dolls are a common toy that any child would have. Back in the 1850s, living on a homestead made it hard to travel to any toy store. Instead, many dolls were handmade. One material that dolls were made from were corn husks. Come join us to see what dolls we have at the Homeplace and maybe make a corn husk doll of your very own.
