The Asian Carp Bow Fishing Tournament will take place on Friday, May 3 at Eva Park Beach in Eva, Tennessee (just east of Camden on Kentucky Lake). Registration begins at 6:00 p.m. with the event taking place from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. Saturday morning. Weigh-ins will take place from midnight at 5:00 a.m. The entry fee is $150 per team. First place will receive $15,000, second place $3,500 and third place $1,500 with guaranteed payouts. It's all a part of the JumpFish Jamboree.

The JumpFish Jamboree will take place Friday, May 4 at Eva Park Beach in Eva, Tenn. Featured events include a $15,000 Asian Carp Tournament (see other event for details), a carp cook-off at 11:00 a.m., carnival rides, games, food and vendors from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Also featured is a wildlife show from 4:00 to 4:30 and live music from 12:30 to 6:00 p.m. featuring The Old Spirits, Lucas Robinson, and Dustin Hensley. Sponsored in part by the Benton Co. Chamber of Commerce, the Benton Co. Tennessee River Resort District, and the TWRA.

When:  May 4, 2019 - 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Join Ranger Josh as we explore parts of the park that aren't on the beaten path. We will be looking for any and all reptiles and amphibians, and will be using the iNaturalist app to log them into the park. We will meet at the park office and carpool to various locations around the park. Bring something to take pictures with, as we will see and learn about these amazing creatures. This event will take approximately 2 hours and we will be doing some hiking, so please wear appropriate shoes and bring some water.

Meet at the Eva Beach stage for an afternoon of live music. Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy local musicians. If you are musically talented and would like to play, bring your instruments and you can join in the fun! All musicians and non-musicians are welcome!

Each year storytellers from the area gather to entertain and excite with tall tales, epic adventures, and fond memories. Join us at the ball field bonfire as we relax, share snacks and tell stories. Don't miss this fantastic grass-roots event! In case of bad weather, we will meet at the Pilot Knob Interpretive Center.

When:  June 8, 2019 - 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Join us for our Annual Kids Fishing Rodeo. Open to ages 0 to 15. We will have prizes for each age group. Food and drinks will be provided. Registration will begin at 7 am with fishing starting at 8. Arrive early to find a good spot to fish as we do have a large crowd. We will stock the fishing area with catfish to increase your catch. Please bring chairs, sunscreen and your favorite fishing gear. We will be limiting each participant to one fishing pole at a time.

Join us for Tn Promise Day and help us clean up Eva Beach while completeing your Tn Promise hours. We will be meeting at the Eva Beach parking area at 10 am sharp. Please bring a drink , gloves and clothes that you dont mind getting dirty. Be prepared to work but also to have a good time giving back to your local state park.
