It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's SUPER SQUIRREL!! Come to our daytime, kid-friendly, non-scary special event all about our super animal friends. Our forest animals are superhero crazy. They heard the League of Eager Animal Protectors (L.E.A.P) is recruiting, and they are ready to show off their best superpower to impress the agents. Join our guides on a half-mile hike and meet some costumed critters who are anxious to be the next L.E.A.P Agent! Also enjoy treats, games, and more! Costumes are welcome and encouraged!

And for the first time, there will be a Kids Costume Contest, beginning at 12:00pm! Contest Sign-Up begins at 11:30am. Bring your favorite costume, and maybe even win a prize $5 per person for ages 5 and up. Ages 4 and under are free. Includes same day NS admission. Tickets go on sale at 11:30am. Guided half-mile character trail hikes begin at 12pm. Last tour departs at 4pm. All other activities end at 4:30pm. Dress for the weather. For more information, call 270-924-2299.

At the Nature Station in Land Between The Lakes. Admission fees apply.

Geese

These geese float gracefully on a warm autumn day. Honker Lake was actually named for the number of Giant and Interior Canadian geese it attracts.
