Shelter Point Retreat - South Location

A Retreat the Whole Family Can Enjoy

Offering scenic views and surrounded by lush woodlands, Shelter Point Retreat South is the perfect place to get away from it all. The house offers a respite for families and friends to hideaway for a few days or even a few weeks if the mood strikes. This three-bedroom, two-bathroom house is situated on a point lot, giving guests breath-taking views of the lake and easy access to the water via a small, private dock. The dock provides a convenient launching pad to kick off a day of fishing, boating and swimming.

The home will comfortably sleep 10 people. Two of the bedrooms include queen-sized beds. The third bedroom includes two sets of bunk beds with extra long twin mattresses. The two full bathrooms, one of which has a tub as a relaxation option, make it easy for guests to coordinate bathing schedules.

Not only is Shelter Point Retreat South a great place to lodge, the large kitchen space also provides a great spot to host family dinners with a fully equipped kitchen, complete with dishware and utensils. There is also a dishwasher to make clean up after dinner quick and easy, allowing everyone more time to relax.

A deck and patio space includes an outdoor grill and a relaxing setting for soaking up the sun and enjoying the lush views that surround the resort. Those who spend a lot of time out on the lake will also enjoy the added amenity of a washer and dryer to keep up with lake-soaked towels and apparel.

There is an additional living room in the home’s basement. It’s outfitted with all sorts of entertainment for those wishing to spend time in door, including a large selection of family-friendly DVDs and games that everyone can enjoy. The house also offers Wi-Fi to allow guests to be as “connected” as they desire.

Recent Renovations

The retreat space was renovated in 2016 to include updated appliances, as well as a long kitchen table that can easily accommodate large groups and families. Additional seating is available on the large deck.

Additional Lodging For Lease

This lake house sits adjacent to another rental space (Shelter Point Retreat North). The homes can be rented together to create more space for larger groups of people. Renting both properties allows visitors complete access to the whole lakefront point.

Nearby Attractions
