Arts and Crafts Festival at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park

Where:  Gilbertsville113 Administration Drive

When:  May 26, 2018 thru May 27, 2018 - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A wide range of artists, from woodcarvers to quilters, will be on hand for the annual Arts and Crafts Festival May 26-27 at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.

Jewelry-makers, potters, blacksmiths, painters and many other craft people will also be showing off their skills both days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free.

A new event this year is a Chautauqua program sponsored by the Kentucky Humanities Council featuring Rachel Lee Rogers as Jean Ritchie, who became famous playing the dulcimer. Her show is at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The show is located at the old beach at the park along Kentucky Lake. Food concessions will be available

Calvert City's Kentucky Lake Outdoors is teaming up with Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park to bring you their top-of-the-line kayaks for you to try out, FREE of charge! Join us at the "Old Beach" to try your hand at paddling some kayaks. The "Old Beach" is located next to the Conference Center. Whether you're a beginner or experienced kayaker, we have something for you!

Carp Madness II - Bowfishing Edition

Where:  Gilbertsville466 Marina Drive

When:  June 23, 2018 thru June 24, 2018 - 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Each Day

Crap Madness II - Bowfishing Edition will take place out of Kentucky Dam Marina on June 23-24 from 7pm to 7am. There are two divisions - a lake division and river division. $23,000 in prizes will be awarded! Entry is $150 per boat. Register at baastore.bigcartel.com.
