30th Annual Hummingbird Festival at the Woodlands Nature Station

The Woodlands Nature Station in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area will host their 30th annual Hummingbird Festival, Aug. 1-2, 2026, from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Hummingbird lovers will delight in a natural spectacle as hundreds of ruby-throated hummingbirds visit the native gardens to fuel up for their migration south to Central America.
The 30th anniversary of Hummingbird Fest is bigger than ever before. Visitors can attend talks from backyard wildlife experts, explore the pollinator art gallery, browse nature art from local artisans, and more. The festival will feature a hummingbird banding demonstration with Southeastern Avian Research and a native plant sale with Ironweed Nursery. The Woodlands Nature Station is located within Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area at 3146 Silver Trail Road, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211.
