Woodlands Nature Station Spring Break: LBL's Most Extreme Animals

March 30, 2026 | Press Release from Friends of LBL

The Woodlands Nature Station invites families to visit during spring break, April 4-12, for programs and activities all about Land Between the Lakes' most extreme animals. Each day, activities at the Woodlands Nature Station will focus on a different kind of "extreme", such as the fastest, strongest, or largest animals.

"Spring break visitors can expect to meet live animals up close at LBL's Most Extreme programs, and to learn about the extreme adaptations that help these animals survive in the wild," says public programming coordinator Nickolaus Willis, "We hope that our spring break will be both fun-filled and educational to Land Between the Lakes visitors."

LBL's Most Extreme programming is included with Nature Station admission, which is $7 for ages 16+ and free for ages 15 and under. Woodlands Nature Station is located in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area at 3146 Silver Trail Road, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211.
