Club Scout Day at Woodlands Nature Station

October 30, 2026 | Press Release from Land Between the Lakes

The Friends of Land Between the Lakes invites Cub Scout dens, packs, and families to the Woodlands Nature Station on November 7 from 10am-3pm for Cub Scout Day: Outdoor Skills.

Cub Scouts of all levels—Lions through Arrow of Light—can complete all or most of the requirements for an outdoors-focused adventure at this event. By completing hands-on activities led by naturalists and volunteers, scouts will explore topics like hiking, using a compass, tree ID, and more.

A full schedule of activities and details on this year's adventures can be seen on the Land Between the Lakes websites.

Nature Station staff recommends planning a two to three hour visit to complete all the required activities for an adventure. All programming is included with Nature Station admission, which is $7 for ages 16+ and free for ages 15 and under. Questions about this event can be directed to 270-924-2299 or abarr@friendsoflbl.org.

The Woodlands Nature Station is located in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area at 3146 Silver Trail Road, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211.
