Kids Adventure Weekend at Woodlands Nature Station

The Friends of Land Between the Lakes invites you to Kids Adventure Weekend at the Woodlands Nature Station during Labor Day Weekend, August 31 - September 2, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This kid-friendly foray will introduce essential outdoor and camping skills. Visitors will learn new ways to enjoy the outdoors including creating their own animal track guide, knot-tying, and how to use a compass. As part of the weekend we will also be offering a guided kayak trips on Saturday, August 31 and Sunday, September 1, from 5 p.m. - 7:30 p.m. The tour will explore the nooks and crannies of Energy Lake while looking for wildlife including eagles and beavers. The Woodlands Nature Station is located within Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area. 3146 Silver Trail Road, Cadiz, Kentucky, 42211. Admission is $7 for ages 16 and up, and free for ages 15 and under.
