Free Virtual Resources Available Through Friends of Land Between The Lakes

This has been a challenging year; teachers and home-educators are working hard to educate their children, and we want to help! While you may not be able to visit Land Between the Lakes for field trips like usual, Friends of Land Between the Lakes still wants to serve our community by offering FREE educational content available at www.friendsoflbl.org.

Interpreters at the environmental education facilities in Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area have developed free online content available to everyone. Watch online presentations of Golden Pond Planetarium shows, sign up for free webinars for groups with the Woodlands Nature Station and access a variety of virtual activities and resources from The Homeplace, all with more videos and content to come this winter! A variety of educational videos are already available on a brand new YouTube channel called "Friends of LBL Outreach".

This virtual content is offered free of charge in support of all the work our educators are doing, and we hope that they will utilize these resources and give feedback about how we can continue to improve offerings as the school year progresses. All content from the environmental education facilities is available through the Friends of Land Between the Lakes website, www.friendsoflbl.org.
