Vendors will be selling their hand-crafted products.

A wide range of artists, from woodcarvers to quilters, will be on hand for the annual Arts and Crafts Festival May 26-27 at Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park.

Jewelry-makers, potters, blacksmiths, painters and many other craft people will also be showing off their skills both days from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. This event is free.

A new event this year is a Chautauqua program sponsored by the Kentucky Humanities Council featuring Rachel Lee Rogers as Jean Ritchie, who became famous playing the dulcimer. Her show is at 1 p.m. on Saturday.

The show is located at the old beach at the park along Kentucky Lake. Food concessions will be available.

Kentucky Dam Village State Resort Park has a lodge, cottages, restaurant, marina, golf course and other recreational activities. The park is also one of the nine stops on the Kentucky State Park Culinary Trail. For details, visit http://parks.ky.gov/dining/
