Prizer Point To Expand, Open New Inflatable Water Lagoon and Campsites

This image shows what the Prizer Lagoon will look like once the project is completed by Memorial Day weekend in 2018.

Prizer Point Marina & Resort, a major Kentucky destination located on Lake Barkley, announced big news today for those who love to play on the area’s lakes.

The resort received approval from the Nashville District of the US Army Corps of Engineers to build an inflatable water park, known as Prizer Lagoon, and to develop a new camping area.

The big expansion project will generate an additional 20 jobs to the waterfront resort located just north of Cadiz, Kentucky in Trigg County. Zip lines and a rope course have already been added to the property with the new Prizer Lagoon expected to open by Memorial Day weekend next year.

The Prizer Lagoon will feature inflatable water attractions and a new camping area. In addition to the existing zip lines and rope course, plus all of the existing family-friendly amenities at the resort, Prizer Point will continue to be one of the top destinations in the Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley region.

Prizer Point Marina & Resort attracts thousands of travelers every year which plays a vital role in Kentucky’s tourism industry. The old saying “a rising tide lifts all ships” describes Prizer Point’s expansion efforts, considering the additional direct and indirect economic benefits to the region.

Job openings are immediately available. If you would like to apply, or get more information about this new venture, contact Prizer Point Marina & Resort at (270) 522-3762. You can also visit their website at www.prizerpoint.com to see additional photos and renderings of the new Prizer Lagoon.
