We'll Lose An Hour Of Sleep This Weekend
It's just about time to "spring forward" - daylight savings time begins this weekend.
Yes, we'll lose an hour of sleep, but we'll also benefit from an extra hour of daylight. The time change officially happens at one second after 1:59:59 early Sunday morning, March 12th. We can't say it officially begins at 2:00 a.m., because there really isn't a 2:00 a.m. hour this Sunday.
Try to figure that one out!
So while we lose an hour of sleep this Sunday, we'll get it back on November 5th. On that day, we'll get to see two 1:00 a.m. hours, since the clocks roll back officially at 2:00 a.m.
