Explorations: Off The Beaten Path
Sometimes, the most unique places and things to see and experience are not well known. Over the last two decades, we have traveled to places throughout the Kentucky Lakes Area to explore some of the most unique and off-the-beaten-path places around. We've discovered many along the way and developed a guide, "Explorations", that introduced some of our finds.
We've experienced too many places in this region to continue to post them on Explore Kentucky Lake. So, a few years ago, we created Four Rivers Explorer, a website dedicated to those lesser-known places to experience. We also included some historical flavors and other odds-and-ends on Four Rivers Explorer.
Some of the original "Explorations" articles are now on Four Rivers Explorer. We invite you to take a look at our experiences and check these places out for yourself.
