Step back into 1850 and discover how families depended on their gardens! In this hands-on program, guests will learn how people gardened in the mid-1800s and why growing food, medicinal herbs, and storage crops was essential to daily life. After a short introduction to historic gardening practices, each participant will design their own 1850s-style garden layout
