Farmers in the mid-1800's needed to possess a wealth of knowledge and skills to make it on their own. Trade Tuesdays will demonstrate some of the common and not so common skill sets that would be needed on a historic farm. This month's skills include turning wood on the foot pedal lathe, caning chairs and weaving baskets. Join us and explore the creation of unique and practical objects.
