Golden Pond, KY, now part of Land Between the Lakes National Rec Area, was a town rich in moonshine history between 1882-1969. The town is no longer there, but the stories live on, including those of a large beast that walks the woods still today. If you venture out at night, you may even encounter the Beast Between the Rivers. Beware.
