The Lakehouse Inn at Sledd Creek

The Lakehouse Inn at Sledd Creek is a locally-owned boutique motel with owners who LOVE Kentucky Lake! They purchased the former Bel Air Motel in the fall of 2022 and immediately began a renovation project of the entire property - all eighteen rooms, four cabins, lobby, vending areas, and pool.

Everything is new - and they have made sure to include the small room details that guests love: fans, sleep machines, cozy spa robes, luxury bedding and linens, contactless (and keyless) entry. Every room has a kitchenette - and the cabins have full kitchens with covered porches. Their lobby features a coffee bar and espresso machine, gathering area, and a vending room with a washer and dryer. A Continental breakfast is included with your stay. Two pools (one for swimming, one for lounging) and a 5000 square foot patio allow room for everyone, and don't be surprised to find poolside music on a Saturday night! They supply the pool towels, so pack light.

There are two pavilions with picnic tables, grills, two amazing fire pits, and family games (think cornhole, washers, dominoes, ping pong, volleyball and the like!) and four EV charging stations on site. What’s new for this season? Visit the BelAir Grill, their new permanent food truck, and the Postcard Lounge - a groovy new gathering spot right on the property. Small meeting rentals will be available at the Lounge!

The Lakehouse Inn is only one minute south of Kentucky Dam Village State Park, with boating, fishing, biking and hiking trails galore. Visit Maggie's Jungle Golf across the street, and be sure to visit Land Between the Lakes while you're here!
