89th Annual Humphreys County Fair

This fair is all you can imagine and more in a rural county fair. Nightly carnival, sheep, cattle and dog shows, talent shows, duck calling contest a Demolition Derby and Mud Bog and more. Don't forget all of the awesome food you can only get at a fair. 234 W. Blue Creek Road.

40th Annual Kentucky Western Waterland Labor Day Weekend Arts & Crafts Festival

Original or handmade jewelry, furniture, baskets, quilts, pottery, lace, clothing, and wooden decorative items are featured in this three day event, along with stained glass designs, embroidery and paintings by exhibitors from nine different states. Eva Beach Music and Arts Festival

National Public Lands Day Shoreline Clean Up Volunteer Workday

Where:  Johnsonville

Your help is welcome from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. to clean up the shoreline near the lakefront area of the park which was once the heart of the Union Supply Depot. As they pick up trash and recyclables that have washed in from the Tennessee River, they'll discuss the history of the Johnsonville Depot, from its founding to the battle that sealed its fate on November, 4th 1864. Gloves, pants, and sturdy footwear are recommended. Trash bags will be provided.

National Public Lands Day: A Walk Through The Woods

In honor of National Public Lands Day, and as part of Humphreys County's Marathon In A Month Event, join Ranger Bob and Director of Tennessee State Parks, Mike Robertson on this fun, easy, Ranger lead 1.5 mile walk through the woods. They'll discuss some of the history and visit some of the special places that make Johnsonville State Historic Park a Tennessee treasure. Starting at 1:00 p.m. follow the blue directional signs that say, "Hike 1pm". Directional signs will lead participants to the event starting location in the park. Admission is free.
