Explored:  August 15, 2002 by Shawn Dunnaway

The Nature Station in the Land Between The Lakes is a must-see for everyone who visits Kentucky Lake.  Featuring live animal exhibits, a learning center, and trails to view wildlife, the Nature Station is an enjoyable experience for folks of all ages.  All of the animals at the Nature Station are non-releasable animals that were orphaned, injured, or born in captivity.

The ExploreKentuckyLake.com crew explored the Nature Station on Thursday, August 15, 2002.  These photos were taken by the crew while we were exploring.  Take a look at just some of the beautiful wildlife we encountered at the Nature Station!

This majestic bald eagle is keeping a close eye on his Kentucky Lake neighborhood. The months of January and February are the best times to catch a glimpse of bald eagles in Land Between The Lakes.
