If you are planning to explore the Land Between the Lakes, the first thing to do is to stop at the Visitor's Center, located just off US Highway 68 in the middle of LBL. At the Visitor's Center, you will find friendly staff ready to assist you. You will also find all the information you need regarding campgrounds, attractions, permits, and regulations.
At the Visitor's Center there are exhibits which explain the historical significance of LBL, how it came to existence, and what there is to do in LBL. Also located in the Visitor's Center is a gift shop with books, souvenirs, and apparel.
