The Wal-Mart FLW Tour made a stop at Kentucky Lake and wrapped things up on May 17, 2003.  Top anglers from all across the country competed in what is called "the Major League Baseball of Fishing" for a top prize of $100,000.  The fishing was held over four days and 175 pros and as many co-anglers participated.

Steve Kennedy of Auburn, AL, had a combined total weight of over 75 pounds (adding all four days) to take the $100,000 top spot.  Davy Hite of Prosperity, SC, came in second, weighing in about 10 pounds less.  Third place belonged to Tom Monsoor of La Crosse, WI, with a total weight of around 65 lbs.
