The Kentucky Lakes Area is known for the Fourth of July Celebrations.  Many events take place throughout the days surrounding the Fourth of July around the lakes.

July 2nd - 9:30 p.m. - Murray - Fireworks from the Bee Creek Soccer Complex. Best viewing from Central Park, Roy Stewart Stadium, the Kroger and Wal-Mart parking lots, north along US 641 to Tom's Grille, along KY 121 to Lowe's, and the Shoppes of Murray parking lot
July 2nd - 9:00 p.m. - Thunder Over Eddy Bay- Fireworks from Eddy Creek Marina Resort, Lake Barkley
July 3rd - Dusk - Kenlake State Park
July 3rd - 9:00 p.m. - Moors Resort - best viewed from the water, vehicle parking limited to lodging reservations
July 3rd - Dusk - Kentucky Dam - Fireworks from Kentucky Dam Marina
July 3rd - 9:00 p.m. - Lake Barkley State Park - Little River Area
July 4th - Dusk - Paris Landing State Resort Park - Fireworks from Paris Landing
