This 45-mile long paved highway begins at the north entrance of LBL and ends at Dover.  On some maps, it may be listed as Kentucky 453.  On The Trace, you can see all kinds of wildlife including deer, buffalo, elk, and more.  Be sure to stop in at the Homeplace 1850 and the Great Western Iron Furnace, located along the highway.
