Lake Barkley was created about 20 years
after the completion of Kentucky Lake.
Barkley was joined with Kentucky with a
free-flowing canal, connecting the two
massive bodies of water. Lake Barkley today
is home to campgrounds, resorts, and lots of
lake recreation.
