Interstate 24
Interstate 24 is just two miles north of Grand Rivers,
Kentucky. Interstate 24
runs west to east through Livingston County, connecting Grand Rivers with Nashville and St. Louis. There
is one interchange on Interstate 24, and that's with Kentucky 453, which
takes you into Grand Rivers.
US 62/641
This federal highway is two-lanes and runs parallel with Interstate
24. This roadway connects Grand Rivers to Kentucky Dam, Benton,
Murray, and Paducah to the west. Going east, the highway connects
to Eddyville and Kuttawa.
Kentucky 453
This scenic two-lane highway connects Grand Rivers to the county seat of
Livingston County, Smithland. To the south, the highway crosses
the Barkley Canal and into the Land Between The Lakes, becoming The
Trace.
Kentucky 453 is the only major highway to downtown Grand
Rivers, because of the close proximity of Lake Barkley, LBL, and
Kentucky Lake.
