We were pleasantly surprised when we explored the Moss Creek Day Use Area in LBL.  Moss Creek features a clean beach (rocks, but not sharp ones!) with plenty of shade trees and a great view of the dam.  Visitors to Moss Creek were engaged in a variety of activities including swimming, canoeing, and boating.  If you're looking for a place on the lake to lounge, check out Moss Creek Day Use Area, three miles south of the canal next door to Hillman Ferry Campground.
