Fort Heiman is an undeveloped parcel of land about 200 acres in size that was important during the Civil War.  Located near the southeastern corner of Calloway County on a bluff overlooking Kentucky Lake, Fort Heiman is currently being restored as part of the National Park system and Fort Donelson in Dover.  Below are some photos from 2003.
