I don't know about you, but the heat ramping up has me daydreaming about snoozing in a hammock. Before we can do that, though, we need to make the hammock ourselves! That's a lot of knots, but in the 1850s, sailors and farmers alike were familiar with macrame. Come on out and try your hand at some basic knots, and maybe add a few knots to the soon-to-be Homeplace Hammock. At the Homeplace 1850s in Land Between The Lakes. Admission fees apply.
