Just eight miles south of Murray on US 641 lies the town of Hazel, Calloway County's only other incorporated city.  Once only a small railroad town, Hazel was beginning to deteriorate until several antique stores popped up in the downtown area during the 1990s.  Today, Hazel is truly a place for the antique lover.  Featured in several national publications including Southern Living magazine, Hazel has over 60,000 square feet of antique stores and malls representing approximately 500 dealers.  Most are open Monday through Saturday, 10:00a to 4:30p, Sunday 1:00p to 4:30p.
