With the aide of Murray State University, Calloway County has

of attractions. From museums
to golf to antique shopping, there's something for everyone.
Murray's downtown area was recently
renovated providing a picturesque setting from the 1920s. Sports fans will enjoy the competitive atmosphere of the
Regional
Special Events Center, home to Murray State basketball. Antique
fans will find a hidden treasure in Hazel. For the researcher, the
Pogue Library is full of historical information, including
genealogy. Four golf courses cover Calloway
County. And if
none of the above is what you're looking for, the county's biggest
attraction is its own eastern border - Kentucky Lake.
